The Farm Organizer position is meant for someone with farming or gardening experience who is willing to be responsible for finding, preparing, sowing, watering, weeding, and harvesting plots in a certain area. Farm Organizers will work in teams to sell and distribute their produce.
They will also be responsible for training and coordinating Farm Interns and Volunteers who work on their plots.
Farm Organizers should be responsible and competent. This is a paid position.
If you would like to be a Farm Organizer in an area where we do not currently operate and you have a large plot (1-2 acres) or a plot cluster (a group of plots in a neighborhood) that you can farm, we are very interested in hearing from you. We can offer you assistance in a variety of ways in getting you off the ground and becoming a local farmer.

The Farm Intern position is meant for someone looking to learn more about farming/gardening, learn by doing, and develop technical expertise over time.
Farm Interns will work in coordination with the Farm Organizer and will be responsible for carrying out necessary tasks of farming: preparing beds, planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and selling at farmer’s markets.
This is an unpaid internship. Farm Interns who develop technical experience with us and prove to be responsible farmers have the opportunity to move into paid positions in the future.

Our volunteers are people who just want to lend a hand every once in a while or only a few hours a week, with no long term commitment and no extensive training necessarily.
Volunteers help in all aspects of farming: it just depends what you’re comfortable doing. We need help preparing soil, planting, weeding, harvesting, and selling our food and flowers.
Our volunteers work in coordination with our Farm Organizers to know where they can help.
