This aged and fermented Organic Raw Garlic from Obis One is black in color and has the jellied texture of a freshly dried fruit. The individual cloves have a savory sweet taste, a pleasant molasses undertone with a subtle hint of a soy sauce creating the complex flavor of umami. The garlic is grown without pesticides outside Philly in Pennsylvania and is a truly unique product.
The garlic is placed in extreme heat within a fermentation process lasting one month. It is then cooled and dried for another week. We love it minced on top of salads, pizzas, pasta or even on it's own as a healthy immune booster--it actually has twice the antioxidants of raw garlic--but without the garlic breath!
